Hi, I’m larissa!

M.A., CCC-SLP

If you're here, chances are you're wondering whether your child could benefit from speech therapy—or maybe you're simply looking for someone who understands what your family is going through.

I'm so glad you're here.

My goal is to make speech therapy feel encouraging, fun, and practical for both children and parents.

For over 11 years, I've helped children build confidence in their communication through play-based, individualized therapy.

My approach

I believe children make the most progress when they feel safe, connected, and excited to come to therapy.

That means every session is built around your child's interests—not just a worksheet or drill.

You'll probably find us playing games, reading books, building obstacle courses, pretending, laughing, and celebrating little wins along the way.

Because when children enjoy learning, they learn more.

Experience & areas of focus

Over the past 11 years I've worked in early intervention, schools, multidisciplinary clinics, and private practice.

Each setting taught me something different, but they all reinforced the same belief:

Every child communicates differently, so therapy should never be one-size-fits-all.

Training & background

I have specialized training in:

  • Stuttering (Stuttering Foundation of America)

  • Autism (Western Washington University & University of Washington)

  • Early Intervention and parent coaching

When I'm not working with families, you'll probably find me hiking in the mountains with my husband and our dogs, trying a new recipe, working on a creative project, or exploring Portland.

I believe the best therapy happens when children feel like they're spending time with someone who genuinely enjoys getting to know them.
